Discord has confirmed a cyberattack on one of its support providers that exposed sensitive information of more than 70,000 users. The leaked data includes real and user names, emails, identity documents sent for verification, and histories of supported communications. Although passwords and payment methods have not been compromised, the impact on privacy and the risk of phishing and impersonation are high.
Japan's largest brewer, Asahi, has suffered a ransomware attack that has forced it to stop its domestic production and has triggered supply problems. Cyberattackers encrypted critical systems and asked for ransom, affecting factories and logistics infrastructures. INCIBE has registered more than 97,000 cybersecurity incidents in Spain so far this year, with an increase of 16.6% compared to the previous year.
